ASSESSMENT OF KNOWLEDGE OF ENDODONTISTS ON NANOTECHNOLOGY IN ENDODONTICS- AN INNOVATIVE RESEARCH

Background: The advances in nanotechnology may lead to a new era of translational applications nanoparticles endodontic treatment.Aim the study: purpose study is understand and assess knowledge Nanotechnology used Endodontics how they can be helpful ensuring proper prevention treatment cases.Methodology: A questionnaire-based survey was conducted amongst 50 Endodontists who had more than year clinical experience. questions were based on usage Nanoparticles as well its contribution field dentistry particularly case Endodontics.Results: Out all endodontists around 65 % felt that future dentistry. Around 90 believe lot expertise might required using nanotechnology.Conclusion: developed for variety purposes endodontics, such disinfection strategies, photodynamic therapy, obturation materials regenerative procedures. Thus, increasing interest this warrants sound research scientific collaborations emphasize potential endodontics.
